Dr. Nicole Headlee, DVM
Owner, Lead Veterinarian
Dr. Nicole M. Headlee received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University (War Eagle!) in 2015 and her Bachelor's of Science in Biology (with minors in Animal Science and Military Science) from Western Kentucky University in 2011. Prior to completing her degrees, she served over six years in the United States Army, including a deployment to Iraq.
Upon graduation from Auburn, Dr. Headlee practiced in a well-respected hospital in Houston for almost two years. She and her husband, Brian Peterson, wanted to be closer to their family, so they headed to Ohio in 2016. They share their home with their energetic and sweet Labradors, Lemon, Moose, and Avi; Cavaliers named Pickles, Wesley, Junebug and Maple; as well as six awesome cats - Moses, Petal, Tater Tot, Ducky, Sploot Baby Ruth, and Flerken. They also raise chickens and ducks and love the fresh eggs they get daily! Their swans, Siegfried and Odette guard the pond and house!
Dr. Headlee's areas of professional interest include exotic pets, dermatology, reproduction, internal medicine, cardiology, feline medicine, and hospice care. For fun, she enjoys music (singing, playing the piano and clarinet), hiking, kayaking, power lifting, reading, and watching Pittsburgh sports.

Dr. Caitlin Johnson, DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Caitlin Johnson graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015, where she served as president of her class all four years. She completed her undergraduate studies at OSU as well, earning her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 2011. She grew up on a small farm in north central Ohio where she raised horses, chickens, and goats.
After graduation, Dr. Johnson practiced at a rural mixed animal clinic near her hometown for 6 years. In 2021 she made her way back to Columbus, where she was a wellness center veterinarian before joining the crew at Cedar Hill Animal Clinic in the Spring of 2023. Her professional interests include canine reproduction, soft tissue surgery, and providing her patients with compassionate palliative and end of life care. She is passionate about practicing using a spectrum of care approach, working with pet parents to ensure they understand all their options and formulating a plan that best fits their needs and those of their pets. Dr. Johnson loves all dogs and cats but Boxer dogs are her favorite!
In her free time, Dr. Johnson loves working with and showing her American Paint Horse, Winnie. She lives in Pataskala with her partner Adrienne, their two dogs (a Labrador named Goose and a Boxer named Finleigh), an axolotl named Huevos, and an assortment of fish. Dr. Johnson enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and of course cheering on the Buckeyes!

Dr. Emory Triance, DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Emory Triance graduated with her DVM from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Prior to this she attended Wilmington College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, summa cum laude, in 2020. She was a competitive swimmer for over 13 years, and played volleyball for 7. While in veterinary school she enjoyed serving as President of both the fraternity Omega Tau Sigma, and the Feline Club!
Initially from Cincinnati, Dr. Triance is thrilled to join the Westerville area and practice with Cedar Hill’s team of talented veterinarians. Dr. Triance is passionate about communicating with pet parents as a team to address every loved one’s unique needs. She has a lifelong dedication to the field of veterinary medicine, and experience working with a wide array of pets from shelter to show.
At home Dr. Triance is grateful to breathe the same air as her two cats, Beans and Coconut. She has a soft spot for pets with special needs, as Beans is paraplegic and requires some extra care. She also has a love for exotic pets and has a Mexican black kingsnake named Spaghetti! In her free time she enjoys drawing, playing video
games, finding new music and podcasts, and spending time outdoors with her partner.
