  • Why Cedar Hill?

Clinic Pets

Picture
Noa
AKA: Baby No No

Noa has been part of the Cedar Hill Animal Clinic family since 2021. After being rescued as a stray by a local rescue, she quickly found her forever home right here at the clinic—and has been winning hearts ever since. Noa is adored by everyone she meets. You’ll often find her cuddled up behind the front desk or proudly hunting her toys around the clinic. Friendly, curious, and always ready to say hello, Noa makes sure no one feels like a stranger for long. If you spot Noa during your visit, feel free to stop and say hi—she’ll be more than happy to return the love.

Sissi
AKA: Sissi Kitty

Sissi joined the Cedar Hill Animal Clinic family in 2022 after being rescued by the same organization as our other clinic cat, Noa. From day one, she fit right in and quickly made her personality known. Sissi is the perfect mix of goofy and spicy. You’ll usually find her playing with her toys or relaxing regally atop one of her many cat towers. While her beautiful eyes may tempt you in, proceed with caution—Sissi prefers to be admired from afar and may express her boundaries with a swat or a nip. She’s not a master cuddler, but she is a master of keeping everyone on their toes—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Betty Jo
AKA: Betty Jo Hot Cheetoh

Betty Jo joined the Cedar Hill Animal Clinic family after being rescued by Dr. Headlee in a rehoming situation. Born in December of 2022, this bearded dragon is full of personality and absolutely knows it. Betty Jo enjoys strolls around the clinic on her harness, keeping a close eye on things in the back and charming everyone she meets. Her favorite snacks include cockroaches and crickets, and her favorite pastime is receiving as much attention as possible. Equal parts confident and curious, she brings energy and entertainment wherever she goes. If you see a bearded dragon out for a walk, don’t worry—it’s just Betty Jo making her rounds.

OG (Other Gecko)
AKA: Allie's Sweet Baby Angel

OG joined the Cedar Hill Animal Clinic family, being rescued by Dr. Headlee after his grandma didn’t want him, and his mom went to college. With nowhere else to go, OG bravely stepped into his new role as clinic royalty. Since then, he’s made himself right at home supervising daily operations, accepting admiration, and reminding everyone that sometimes the best things in life are completely unplanned. OG is known for his seasoned wisdom, strong opinions, and unmistakable main-character energy.

Dream Fire
AKA: Skank

Skank is our resident clinic skink and an important member of the Cedar Hill Animal Clinic team. She was personally selected by Dr. Headlee for one very professional reason: she’s pretty. While Skank doesn’t assist with appointments or answer phones, she takes her role seriously by supervising daily clinic activities, boosting morale, and reminding everyone to appreciate the little things—like good lighting and a warm spot to nap. Her calm presence and undeniable charm make her a favorite among staff and visitors alike. If you’re lucky, you might catch Skank basking, observing, or simply being admired—exactly as she deserves.

Dallas
RIP ♥

Dallas was a rescue from a neglect case. He is a leopard gecko, and came to our clinic in 2021. You may not see Dallas while you are visiting, as he has a special spot in our treatment area where he stays. You will often find him sleeping during the day or snacking on meal worms! Dallas peacefully passed in spring of 2024 around the age of 15. Although our time with him was short, he holds an extremely special place in our hearts and we miss him dearly.

Merida Peach ♥
RIP
♥
Merida, our bearded dragon joined the Cedar Hill family in 2020. Merida was a rescue that came to us with a broken arm. She, like Dallas had a special spot in our treatment area which is why you may have not seen her around! Merida enjoys baths, sleeping, and of course eating. Her favorite treats consisted of horn worms, and dubia cockroaches. Merida passed in April of 2023 from a liver disease. We miss Merida so much and are grateful for the time we were able to give her the best life!
Thor ♥
Forever in our Hearts

Thor was the first clinic cat at Cedar Hill. He came the year Dr. Headlee opened the practice, 2018, as an owner surrender. Thor was diagnosed with Lymphoma Spring of 2022 and we had to say our goodbyes a few short months later. He not only stole the hearts of everyone who worked here and cared for him, but many of our clients as well. He was one of a kind and impossible to forget. Thor was best known for his bossy, yet loving personality. Stroller walks, being outdoors, and cat nip were some of his favorite things.
We love you forever Thor!
Rest in peace, sweet friend.
