- What is considered an urgent care or emergency visit? Urgent care and emergency visits are for pets experiencing sudden illness or injury that requires prompt medical attention. This may include vomiting or diarrhea, difficulty breathing, seizures, traumatic injuries, toxin exposure, wounds, sudden pain, or any condition that is rapidly worsening. If you are unsure whether your pet’s condition is urgent, we encourage you to contact our clinic for guidance.
- Do I need an appointment for urgent or emergency care? Calling ahead is highly encouraged when possible so our team can best prepare for your pet’s arrival and provide guidance on next steps. It is not guaranteed that our team will be able to see your pet same-day and we may send you to another hospital for more immediate treatment.
- What should I do if my pet has an emergency after hours? If your pet experiences an emergency outside of our regular business hours, please contact a local emergency veterinary hospital immediately. Below are options available to you 24 hours a day:
