Cedar Hill offers a wide variety of Reproduction and Breeding Services. Our mission is to educate, assist, and promote responsible, and most of all safe breeding practices. Some of our services offered include:

- Brucella Canis Testing (required)
- Genetic Health Testing
- OFA Radiograph Services
- Hormone Therapy
- Artificial Insemination (Vaginal or Transcervical)
- Live Cover Assistance
- Prenatal Care
- Ultrasound
- Birthing assistance
- Cesarean births- if needed
Once you have scheduled an OFA appointment with our office, there are a few things you need to do at home before your appointment.
1. Visit https://www.ofa.org/application-forms and fill out the forms needed for the tests you are doing. You may submit them online but print out the finished copies and bring the copies to your appointment. The OFA fees will be included on your estimate and paid through our practice.
2. Bring your dog’s AKC registration and completed OFA forms to your appointment.
3. After the radiographs are done, the forms are signed by the owner of the dog and the veterinarian. Please make sure the owner of record of the dog has signed or is available to sign the forms.
4. We submit the radiographs and forms electronically to OFA.
5. If you want your OFA results listed on your dog’s pedigree, they must be AKC registered AND microchipped.
6. NO food is permitted after midnight the night prior to your pets appointment. Water is permitted up until the appointment.

*Please note, our clinic proudly offers comprehensive reproductive services for responsible breeders and their dogs. To maintain ethical standards and breed integrity, we provide these services only to purebred dogs registered with an internationally recognized kennel club. If your breed is not recognized by an international organization (AKC, UKC, KC, ICKC, etc.), you must be a member of - and have your dog registered with - a state, national, or international breed club, and maintain good standing. We are committed to promoting healthy breeding practices and the long-term wellbeing of every dog in our care.
